Alternative Investments Executive Course
The course aims to provide an advanced level of study and updating to the operators of the banking and financial market.
In the introductory year (a.y. 2020-21) the course on the Alternative Investments Executive Course will be structured in three distinct modules: the first module is dedicated to Private Equity (PE) and is aimed at outlining the main operating structures attributable to this area, such as leveraged buy-out (LBO), in addition to financing techniques and exit strategies; the second module is dedicated to exploring the main characteristics of venture capital, which is a form of private equity financing focused on start-ups, early stage and emerging companies; the third module focuses on Special Purpose Acquisition Companies, that is, on an instrument aimed at attracting risk capital, which is experiencing a particular diffusion not only in the United States. It should be noted, however, that every year, based on the new trends in the legal market and the new financial and banking needs, the topics to be explored will be subject to the necessary changes specified by the co-directors and the Scientific Committee composed of top academics and professionals of world level.
The course is targeted to realize the objective related to the establishment and the operation of post-graduate specialization courses and profes-sional refresher courses. It fulfils the cultural needs of certain fields of study or for professional updating or retraining and permanent education.
