Third mission
The DSG's activities have a two-way relationship with the context of reference: the DSG offers training and specialised research to external players who, in turn, stimulate new research and highly specialised training projects

Joint research workshops and advanced courses
Various third mission activities were carried out by the Department's members with reference to ATQs, both individually and through joint research laboratories.
In addition, the offer of further training and refresher courses, also on topics related to ATQs, is constantly being updated.
Public engagement
The mapping of the public engagement activities of the DSG and its members began in 2023 by populating the database on the single University platform SISValDidat.
Conventions and Agreements
The promotion of institutional Third Mission agreements concerning social inclusion, health and wellbeing, environmental sustainability and opportunities for access to scientific and humanistic knowledge is always active and takes the form of conventions and agreements with public and private entities.
